How to farm Luxon faction solo...
This is a brief guide for anyone who wants to farm Luxon faction, for quest progression or to buy skills/jade/scrolls and advance their title track. This farm involves completing the "The Jade Arena" quest repeatedly, so it can get boring, and it also involves micro-managing three heroes so it needs considerable concentration. However, I've worked at making this farm as efficient as possible, to the point where a whole run takes on average 1:20. Since the quest reward is 2,000 xp, 400 faction and 150 gold, it is possible to make up to 90,000 xp, 18,000 faction, and 6,750 gold an hour. The other bonus about this run is that it is done with a full hero/henchman party, so there is no need to spend a long time getting people together.
Now, onto the run itself...
Note: I reference screenshots several times during the guide. These are on my Personal Album (https://syke.actieforum.com/gallery/Personal-album-of-Aoi-Yozora-cat_u37.htm), and are simply awaiting Slayer's approval to become visible.
The run is fairly straight-forward. The whole party runs past a few groups to get to the quest location, does the quest (killing 8 criminals, often including some monsters), takes the reward and restarts.
Party wise, there are few necessities. All of the builds that I use are visible from the screenshots, but these are not the only builds that will work.
The human player needs to act as a runner, so you will need running skills, and either Assassin secondary with Death's Retreat/Return, or the PvE skill Ebon Escape.
One of the heroes needs to be a Ranger secondary with Frozen Soil, and the other two heroes have to have party-wide running skills, so they will either be Warrior secondary with Charge[elite], or Paragon secondary with "Fall Back!". I choose the latter because "Fall Back! is non-elite and provides healing.
Start the run from Jade Flats (Luxon). For the first part of the run, which involves running past two (or perhaps three) groups, the important thing is for the human player to not stop moving. If you do, the heroes and henchmen have a nasty habit of stopping to fight. The party will tag along behind you, and you should activate their running skills so they don't fall too far behind. Very occasionally, they can get blocked by an enemy mob, and if that happens several of them may die. However, it is possible to complete the quest with two party members dead...
Once you get past the mobs, flag the party to the location on the screenshot and activate Frozen Soil in the right location as you continue running to the quest npc. Use a shadow step to teleport to the top of the cliff, which saves time. When you get to the quest npc, take the quest and body block him at the top of the stairs, as per the screenshot. Then simply wait for your party to kill the enemies and take the quest reward.
Note: this farm can be done with several people, in which case it can be done faster but using a different method. I can write this up too if there's interest.

Re: How to farm Luxon faction solo...
The Kurzicks have the Securing Echovald Forest farm, which is the single fastest faction farm in the game (400 faction in under a minute, simply by flagging heroes). Unfortunately, the equivalent Luxon quest, Scout the Coast, is a lot more of a pain, and far slower than the Kurzick run.
Luxon faction farming may not be able to compete with Kurzick faction farming, but I'd go so far as to say that the farming method I described in the first post is the fastest Luxon faction farm in the game. I regularly get 14k faction an hour (which works out to 28k allegiance points an hour) and I could get higher if I didn't waste any time.
But either way, there is no need for anybody to be spending days doing quests/AB for the Befriending the Luxons/Befriending the Kurzicks quest requirements, as enough faction for either can be accumulated in under an hour.
