First impressions

Runes of magic :

ROM, is a free mmorpg that is still in beta
it looks a lot like wow but i prefer this game because u have less walking to do then in wow
loads of quests i read over 600
quest that u can do once but also repeatable quests called daily quest
u can do 10 daily quest a day so pick out the best 1 u can do and repeat it 10 times for best rewards

there are 6 classes :
scout
priest
rogue
mage
warrior
knight

all have their own specific skills
there are also some elite skills but u will only get 1 if u have ur characters 1st and 2nd proff on lvl 15,20,25 and 30 maybe higher too but thats not know atm

elite skills are specific per combo
priest+knight gets a diff elite then knght+priest
priest+scout gives different 1 too
etc

u need to gather loads of materials to make things like armor, potions, weapons etc
so there is much to do

there are also loads of bosses to kill
loads of dungeons (also random dungeons)

lvl 6 quest to kill a boss will need high lvl players dont think its easy

dont go alone on boss hunting but get a party

Guilds: there are guilds in ROM and they need to be leveled so all have to work for that
its very easy gather materials and other items to lvl the guild and we will grow
atm i know a guild can be lvl 5
we are lvl 2 now
it seems also we can build a castle for the guild aswell
als there will be guildquests to be done too
so many new features not available in gw

there is a lot to see and do i think at this point its a great game

Hope to see u all in ROM as well
and i dont forget about gw because thats a great game and still is


for some item u need real money unfortunatly but u can play without it and still get all content of the game.

there is so much more and if u want to know join the game and join syke guild

I tried it ..... found it too much wow not realistic enough for me........although the idea of learning trades is kinda cool

ne ways it gets a 2 sideways thumbs from me
