Melee Tank Ele
This one uses Mist Form elite to tank against melee or non-physical damagers.
You will need 16 points at Water Magic 12+1(head)+3(rune). Also, using glyph of elemental power may prove usefull since this way your water magic will boost to 18. 9+1(rune) Energy Storage should be enough, while rest points I used to give to Inspiration Magic.

Water Attunement
Really easy to use, just use glyph of elemental power, then echo, then mist form, aggro the enemies and stand still. Notice that with 18 water magic, mist form lasts 22 seconds with 30 seconds cooldown. If you need to use Arcane Echo(if aggro is real big, or hard to kill) be sure to recast Mist Form around 4 seconds before it runs off or the 20 seconds that echo works will run off. Armor of Mist and Blurred Vision are only usefull when Mist Form gets interrupted, removed or if 3 casts and there are still enemies attacking you. Water Attunement is a simple way to keep your energy up while used together with Channeling. Notice that using this build, frozen burst will never be enough for you to kill many high leveled enemies, and it's just a way to provide additional damage. While tanking this way you will need an area damager like a nuker, an SS, or a barrager to kill the things you aggro.
Counters: Fast interrupting, Enchantment removal, conditions or hexes that cause health degeneration and of course non-physical sources of damage.
Variants: You could swap to E/R to use Serpent's Quickness or E/Mo for additional damage from smiting(like Balthazar's Aura or something similar). Test it for yourself and if you can find a way to deal damage while staying alive, post it right here Hope this was usefull.
